I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your expert diagnosis, treatment and correction of the herniated discs L-3, L-4, & L-5 in my lower back. When others were advising surgery as a solution, your explanation of spinal rehabilitation and therapy gave me the confidence to participate in your program. Also, your patience and compassion provided me with the courage to go on the decompression table. This therapy was the prime reason for the re-alignment of my discs in just four short weeks.
I will always be grateful for providing me with a pain free spine, and continue to tell friends and relatives of my experience, and your expert chiropractic ability.

I have been going to Dr. Tom for about 3 months for hip and knee pain. So far, I am living with less pain and feeling better.

Dr. Tom is a master adjuster. I've been receiving chiropractic adjustments off and on since i was 17 in 1971! Dr. Tom is thorough, knowledgeable, and always gets to the source of the problem thereby enabling fast results in pain reduction!

Doctor McGuire,
The purpose of this letter is to thank you for the care you have provided over the last two months. On June 12, 2006, I woke up to an ankle that was so severely sprained that I could not walk. On June 17, 2006, I was scheduled to run at the Nike Track and Field Outdoor National in the 200 meter dash and the 4X400 meter relay. This was to be the last track meet of my high school career and the chances of competing with a severely sprained ankle did not look good. After receiving treatment from you for my ankle on June 12, 13 and 14, I was blessed to run a 400 meter anchor leg split in 46.4 seconds for the Old Bridge High School 4X400 meter relay team. The Old Bridge High School 4X400 meter relay team won its heat in a time of 314.82, which was the fastest time run in the state of New Jersey this year (2006). The time also placed the Old Bridge High School 4X400 meter relay team sixth in the nation, which resulted in our team being named to the Nike Track and Field Outdoor Nationals "All American" team.
Thank you for helping me finish my high school track career on such a high note.

I first came to the office of Dr. McGuire mid-summer of 2006. I had seen my general practitioner and a leading NJ rheumatologist several times regarding the shooting pain and numbness which radiated from my neck down into my shoulder and as far down as my elbow. Muscle relaxants, physical therapy, and topical creams were a few treatments which temporarily soothed the symptoms but never touched the cause. A CAT-scan and x-rays revealed that I had arthritis and degenerative discs in my upper neck. Having no desire to start arthritis medication at age 36, I had remebered someone had once suggested chiropractic. The day I first showed up I had trouble pulling a t-shirt over my head because it was excruciating to lift up my arms. Upon meeting Dr. McGuire, I realized immediately that his non-sterile office enviornment and personable disposition were unlike any treatment I'd ever experienced. This doctor enabled me to see the severity of my problem and yet gave me hope that if I followed his regimen and helped myself I would start to feel better. For the first 6 months or so, I needed to be seen three times weekly--not an easy thing to schedule for a full-time working mother of three young children who also attended graduate school. But again, Dr. McGuire assured me that he would help me to get there, and to trust that if I came and kept up with my "turtle" exercises, that I would begin feelin better. During many appointments I was flanked with all three of my children who began to ask to come to "Dr. Tom's" office because he was so friendly and made them feel welcomed. Eventually three times a week became two, and by year or so, just one. I don't know if it was just the calming effect of the congenial appointments or the faith I had in my doctor and myself to heal, but I am pleased to inform anyone who'll listen that I FEEL BETTER! As a result of the chiropractic services from Dr. Tom, I also attribute a general feeling of well-being. Not only have my arthritic symptoms subsided greatly, but I 've noticed that I get less colds and headaches than before I began. When the school nurse called to inform me that my 3rd grader was complaining of a very sore neck, I panicked, but I immediately thought to bring him not to his pediatrician,but to Dr. Tom. This past week my husband went for his initial visit after being a chiropractic non-believer for so long. And while I'm sure that chiropractic medicine itself has given me my life back, I can say with confidence that I may not have made the journey had it not been for the gifted knowledge and genuine warmth of my caretaker, Dr. Tom.
